METHOD
Separate searched hay from unsearched hay

The goal is not to predict the spawn. It is to reduce overlap and make every return trip easy to continue.

Run this pattern long enough to notice whether bag size, collection action, or collection speed is the real bottleneck.

    Pick a visible edge

    Start at one outside face of the hay pile instead of entering from a random point.

    Clear a narrow lane

    Move across the pile in a readable strip so searched and unsearched hay stay distinct.

    Turn at the boundary

    Shift over once and clear the next parallel lane rather than criss-crossing the pile.

    Keep the same return point

    After selling, come back to the same pile face and continue the pattern.

    Let the objective confirm it

    When the needle appears, use the live objective to confirm the find before leaving the route.

No reliable fixed coordinate is supported by the current evidence. Treat another player's location as an example, not a guarantee.

What is the fastest search pattern?

A lane pattern reduces repeated ground and makes it easier to resume after selling. Exact luck still varies by run.

Should I search randomly?

Random movement can work, but it makes coverage and return paths harder to track. A repeatable edge-to-edge pattern is easier to diagnose.
